10 Reasons to Quit Smoking

A long time ago, smoking cigarettes was all the rage, bespeaking a sophisticated individual in line with the times. Because we feel smoking was cool and no one had an thinking as to the damage we were doing to our bodies. Smoking and cancer were not even associated and the cigarette companies made money hand over fist with their offerings.

We all know that smoking is our big concern and everyone knows it. Millions of peoples still smoke although we all know that smoking causes lung cancer and they unable to tear themselves away from this miserable habit. The question is do we really need any more reasons to quit smoking?

 It’s never too late to quit and there's never an easy time to do it. So quit now, right now, put down that cigarette, it's so easy to smoke them while on the computer. To quit, you need to break your addiction to nicotine and to the habit of smoking which also includes the pleasure you get from smoking.

Even it appears so, among the main reasons to quit smoking are cancer and potential death. Why is it that so many of us continue to smoke, despite the evidence of grave consequences to our own well being? The answer lies deeply disguised within the cigarette industry. That's why it's so important for you to figure out why you want to quit.

Although it is the most fundamental reasons to quit smoking is that failing to do so, and you are giving up your own freedom. You choose to smoke, you are not forced to do so. If you are still a smoker, you must ask yourself why you make this choice in the face of all the evidence that this is a self-destructive choice.

Do you really know that the ordinary cigarette contains anywhere from 500 to 1000 chemical additives? And it's true that nicotine is addictive, but it's really the chemical additives that enslave you. Smoking is an addiction. Like any other addiction, sometimes it requires healing the underlying cause before we can end the addiction. Addiction is caused by an emptiness or low self-esteem that causes us to use substances to try and fill the void.

Recently, there's a new market place in the tobacco industry, that of the “natural” tobacco products which contain no additives, only in pure tobacco containing nicotine. This non-additive tobacco product presents us with an interesting dilemma. To what are you actually enslaved? The nicotine or the additives? Why can't you quit?

There are many valid reasons to quit smoking if you closely examine. Remember that your children and your children's children be there for them and enjoy a better state of health. Other reasons to quit smoking include eliminating the expense of buying the tobacco, stinky ashtrays and clothing, as well as the social reproductive structure now associated with the habit. It's no longer cool to be a smoker.

If you take a long and honest look, the reasons to quit smoking far outweigh any pleasure you may realize from this habit.

Try this first step. Switch from the national brands to the natural tobaccos. You'll find that eliminating additives from your cigarettes will cause you to experience the same withdrawal symptoms as you've had when you last attempted to quit smoking. What does that tell you? The cigarette companies have enslaved you with a lot of chemicals. You'll find that, although nicotine is addictive, it's something you can easily beat out.

Consider your freedom of choice if you are looking for reasons to quit smoking that will really stick and provide the motivation you need. They've been trying to fool you all this time. Life is precious do not play with your life. Your smoking habit is a slow poison, which is killing you slowly. Moreover, you are playing on your money. Smoking cigarettes has only disadvantages.
